Trust & Transparency Center
At Paben VPN, user trust is built on verifiable technical design, not marketing claims. Here is our complete, transparent technical blueprint covering our encryption architecture, session memory policy, binary integrity, and user protections.
Cryptographic Architecture (WireGuard®)
Paben VPN exclusively utilizes the state-of-the-art WireGuard® protocol for tunneling network traffic. Unlike legacy IPSec/OpenVPN stacks containing hundreds of thousands of lines of code, WireGuard features a minimal attack surface (~4,000 lines of code) implementing modern cryptographic primitives:
- ChaCha20-Poly1305: Authenticated symmetric encryption for all routed packets.
- Curve25519: Elliptic-curve Diffie-Hellman key exchange for secure session establishment.
- BLAKE2s: High-performance cryptographic hashing.
- AES-256-GCM: Standard authenticated encryption used exclusively for securing stored credentials and API tokens at rest.
Zero Activity Logs & In-Memory Execution
We operate on a strict data-minimization principle. Our VPN gateway routing software executes within temporary volatile system RAM. We commit to the following operational invariants:
Official Binary Integrity & SHA-256 Hashes
To guarantee that you are executing genuine, untampered software compiled directly from our source, verify the official SHA-256 checksums before installation:
30-Day Fair-Use Refund Policy
We maintain complete transparency in our billing. We do not use deceptive "unconditional full money-back" marketing when network bandwidth costs apply. Instead, we publish an exact, fair tiered schedule:
• 1-Year & 2-Year Plans: 30-Day refund window (Days 1–15: 70% refund; Days 16–30: 40% refund).
• 1-Month Plan: 15-Day refund window (Days 1–7: 50% refund; Days 8–15: 20% refund).
